Changing Ballparks

I sort of now understand how the numerical ballpark factors affect team performance.

Wind speed and direction affects it a little too, I think.

Does the surface of the field affect anything? Artificial vs grass?

On weather/wind, are the effects negated if you play in a dome?

My understanding is no. Surface is purely cosmetic.
