96 OVR Trevor Bauer
How has he performed in leagues? I'm in a silver league looking to make an impact to my rotation. He looks very balanced but no other team in my league has him so I can't see his stuff vs right and left ratings or how he has been performing in a universe.

Depends on the parks he plays in.

Low movement pitchers give up a lot more home runs. If your home ballpark has a low HR factor, he will likely perform well.

Edit: I think Orcin's screenshot is actually Kluber, not Bauer. Bauer's 82/72/53, and a better option than Kluber IMO.
For the price, I'd still try to land someone like Beckett, Carpenter, Montefusco, or Saberhagen (all are usually available for between 8k-10k pp), but the only real problems with Bauer are his 53 control, his mediocre stamina, and the fact he doesn't have a real wipeout pitch (although he has a lot of decent ones). Those are all more manageable than lousy movement. Last edited by Weaseltail; 12-24-2018 at 05:47 PM. |
