Challenge mode: Look at the stats of this dude
I went to check the end of year stats, and Toronto has an absolute stud playing for them. This is in a league I started doing a 2010 Phillies league. I saw someone post a 15 something WAR, and this was his end of year stats:
Keep in mind, y'all been playing '19 longer, so if stats like these are common...my bad. ![]() Sadly for him, my Phillies beat his Blue Jays in game 7 of the 2022 World Series |

2018 1st round, 2nd overall. But still...
He was tearing it up in his first pro year!

I'm calling shenanigans or your league's offense has gotten waaay too hot, like what was happening in OOTP17 and OOTP18. What kind of ratings does this (beyond) superstar have?
EDIT: Of course, I do play historical, so I'm not at the mercy of sea changes in offensive output that the future appears to have in store for us. Last edited by actionjackson; 12-18-2018 at 10:34 PM. |

I just started a new Franchise (challenge mode), and same thing, in my first year. Stanton hit 70 HRs.

I love it when this occurs as it happens so rarely even in my solo when it decided to boost the offense it was still rare and far between as it does keep my interests to want to watch the guy have a career in hope could break some records

with the current LT.LTM these are definitely possible seasons with extremely good talent and a bit of good luck.
if he continues to consistently hit .750-.800slugging and higher (*not lower) for the next 5 years, then i'd say it's probably tuned a bit higher than normal for one reason or another. if he ends up averaging in the .~650 by the end of his prime years, that's not so bad. that would be a good and healthy start to a well-rated player's career. I'll check and get a new photo in a few minutes.
No shenanigans, I don't change any settings. Please stand by, once the update downloads I'll get into it **edit** I know in one of the seasons that just passed, Colorado had a guy put up similar stats (like 75 hrs, 170 rbis, etc) I'll try to find his card when I get an update to Coxs' photo Last edited by acclaim99; 12-20-2018 at 11:21 PM. |

I'm very confused how you haven't traded for this guy yet.

I had a guy in my solo give Colorado rockies 966 Homeruns …. I kept an eye on the guy. Tried to get him in FA and via trade never could get him till they let him go to another team (Cubs) then I traded for him for cheap for half season boost in morale and run for playoffs. he retired the year after I let him go with one more year in Milwaukee

I should say I am rooting for them 2 players in your challenge to approach the Home Run record at the very least. Must be exciting to watch players like this even when they not on your team. Definitely want to keep updated on this
