That is how 95% of the packs I opened in Beta looked, except I would get more players in the 40's

I had one where the high card was 58, which I thought was impossible.

Not in the starter packs.

The regular packs guarantee one bronze card.

I think I read somewhere that starter packs are different in that in the overall draw you were guaranteed at least X number of golds, Y number of silvers, and Z number of bronzes. How you get there may be up in the air. I dunno for sure though

I feel your pain guys - 15 packs and the only gold cards were 2 closers. nothing better and no silvers i see myself wanting long term

6 starter packs netted me a gold and 3 silvers, several of which have already been converted into a nice pile of PP to use in auctions. Very necessary with the team I'm building this time around.

I can't complain too much...

My pitching is atrocious, but you can do a lot worse than an outfield of Ichiro (2007 AS), Mickey Mantle and Paul O'Neil. All from the starter packs too.
