International players usually go for a lot cheaper than their scouted values, and this is why.

they are usually ~30, so 3 good years out of 6 years is probably average return, too.

if you can get them on shorter contracts not beond 33-34ish, you can still trade them before they peter out on you, but then you only get 1-2 years of use. just have an escape plan and stick to it.

nothing you can do about TCR or bad scouting... beef up the budget, i guess.

remember if you have no active international leagues, you do not need international scouting. that helps a ton for the other 3.

The manual says that IFA are scouted as ML; IAFA are scouted as amateurs. International apparently only pertains to discoveries.

I've actually had better luck with discoveries than with spending my 5mil per year on International Amateurs
