Don't forget if you set Auto-Sell.

I would have posted this in the Missing one or more of your cards? thread but they've got it locked. That's the thread that I went to after opening a pack of palookas then wondering where they went!

It turns out that I had forgotten that I had set this Auto-Sell feature with a rather high bar of quality:

I found the answer in my transaction history:

They were gone in an instant and since the return was so low, I did not notice the difference in refunded PP.

This has been a Public Service Announcement.

Are two different cards of one player allowed?

I just noticed that there are two cards of Michael Brantley out there - one a 2014 card with a rating of 80 and another card from 2018 with a rating of 78

I'm pretty sure there are other players with more than one card out there.

Since Brantley, i. e., is listed as LF and CF, would it be possible to play both Brantley's?

It's not possible to play two cards of the same player, even if they're listed at different positions

I would hate to face my monster Babe Ruth card in left field and right field. .

But he is saying that they are different cards of the same player, one from 2014 and one from 2018 ("live"). This is an interesting question, whether those two cards could be used in the same lineup, regardless of position.

I just noticed that I posted my question in this thread instead of starting a new one ...

I don't think I still qualify as a newbie here on the boards

Sorry

But that's the question:

Two different cards of a player, not the same card

My understanding is no. You cannot have two different cards of the same player on the active roster, even if they are of different card types and/or years.

Yeah, I understood the question, but different cards or the same card, you still can't play two cards of the same player

You can't even have both on your active roster at the same time.

Thanks. That settles that. It would have been interesting so have two versions of one player in different phases of his career on the team, perhaps, but I can see the optics being bad (which is which without hovering?) and it may upset some programming processes.

That's what I expected, but it's good that we have an official word on it
