Player strategy to force switch

Is it possible to add a player strategy setting to force a switch hitter to hit from a certain side even against same-handed pitchers?

This could be used as a counter to the stupid tricked-out ballpark thing.

This is my current opponent's ballpark, lineup and home record, (and there are other players who are doing the same thing but with lefties). It would be nice to temporarily set my 7 switch hitters to hit right-handed and lay a thorough beating on this silly team

By the way,we will change the ballpark factor limits to 0.9 and 1.1 for HR and AVG.

I am one that feels this will open more strategy into the game instead of people trying win with a gimmicky team. This is the best news I have received yet for addressing the unrealistic imbalance to strategy part of the game. I personally want to tip my Ranger's cap to you, Sir.

Why not reduce that 14 day 'cooling off' period that players receive when they are moved to the reserve roster?

Then if you've got a couple of teams coming up who play that way, you can temporarily shuttle in a couple of extra left handers. Keep a penalty so that it doesn't get abused, but lower it to 5 days or something.

That would make the reserve roster something worth thinking about. Maybe with that change, even limit the reserve roster to 15 players, so we've got a 40 man roster in play and it reduces strain on your servers.

No, a lower limit would open the door for exploits. We have discussed this at length during development and closed beta.
