Decided on a new historical league.

What i decided to do is start a historical league in 1920. Then I will edit my league with teams of different eras. Sixteen teams and one I will make custom called the Waterloo Kakeys. This team will have some negro league players, as well as some random players from 1871-1900.

The teams I chose for my first 88 game season.

AL East
1901 Philadelphia Athletics, 1913 Washington Senators, 1932 New York Yankees, Waterloo Kakeys,
1975 Boston Red Sox, and the 1976 Baltimore Orioles.

AL West
1911 Cleveland Indians, 1909 Detroit Tigers, 1979 Milwaukee Brewers, 1944 St Louis Browns,
1965 Minnesota Twins, and the 1952 Chicago White Sox

NL East
1901 Pittsburgh Pirates, 1963 Cincinnati Reds, 1967 St Louis Cardinals, 1990 Montreal Expos,
1955 New York Giants, and the 1920 Brooklyn Dodgers

NL East
1908 Chicago Cubs, 1957 Milwaukee Braves, 1965 LA Dodgers, 1966 Philadelphia Phillies, 1966 San Francisco Giants, and the 1972 Houston Astros

The reason I set this up with as a historical rather than a fictional league is that the ratings for negro leaguers, when imported from the database are more accurate.

It should be fun. I like to play the games out. What I do is manage a different team for 10 games or so. My 88 game schedule allows for interleague play. So, this should be interesting and fun.
