Hanford Stadium
When this owner decided to build a ballpark, he also decided to build the new headquarters of his famous national insurance company on the same parcel of land. The resulting structure, while quite striking in appearance, features one of the most strangely configured playing fields ever designed. Short fenced enclosures down each of the foul lines reduce homerun distances below 300 feet. A section of bleacher seating juts into the field of play in right field also providing an alluring target for lefty pull hitters. A flag pole sits in play over in left field and a massive scoreboard is situated there as well, keeping a good proportion of fly balls hit its way from going over the fences. A small section of box seats - the owners private box - is suspended high above center field from the upper portion of the Insurance building. With the fully enclosed ballpark design and short dimensions, some fans worry about the risk to the many windows in the office builing. Not to worry, they're fully insured.
Capacity: 33.000 Left Field Line: 272 ft Left Field: 343 ft (36 ft high scoreboard) Left Center: 411 ft (deepest notch) Center Field: 392 ft. Right Center: 377 ft. (base of office tower) Right Field: 318 ft. (bleachers) Right Field Line: 276 ft. Last edited by Teflon Skies; 03-23-2003 at 12:43 AM. |

Did you notice he even has the dirt spill onto the grass where the players cross in the infield!
Beautiful work. |

yeah, it'd be great if you could put all of your parks in one file, zip it up, along with a park and parkconfig with all of the dimensions, wall heights, and modifiers. would be really, really awesome!
