Sons and baseball skills

I have 3 sons and 2 daughters in my solo league as Rock Rivers. My first son, Muddy Rivers, is now eight years old and it says that he has no baseball skills at all.

Does this mean he is a dud? Or will he gain skills as he ages?

Will I just have to wait for Rocky Rivers and Catfish Rivers to turn seven? I hope at least one of these guys makes the major leagues!

I'm pretty sure that when it says No Baseball Skills at All, it means he will never have baseball skills. Around 7 is when you find out it seems. I had one that I just found out had "Rather Good Baseball Skills", now just to wait on my 1 year old

I think that definitely could be improved in future updates. I mean, come on just because hes 7 doesn't mean he will NEVER develop. Does it?

I think the fact that I had children at age 4 in my sim led to my underdeveloped children.

My Rather Good Baseball Skills kid, I believe he was a "Some Baseball Skills" at one time before. So it seems they can grow. It could be assumed that those that say "No Baseball Skills at all" just have no interest in baseball and would rather play a different sport instead.

At least you guys are having kids. I'm on my 6th girlfriend in 2 years. The first 5 left me. Guess I'm just too dedicated to my work.

And at least some of you guys are getting boys; I have four children and they're all female. I must have only Y chromosomes or something...

Wouldn't that be all X chromosomes?

Poor kids. With names like those, I bet they get teased in school. Well, maybe not Rocky. It would make Frank Zappa happy, though!

Ive got a 9 year old with excellent skills, but at 7 they were outstanding, so it seems they can go up And down... It did take me awhile to have a boy i might add, this ones on my 2nd manager mode game, the first one i played out for about 35 years and had 6 girls... I ran outa names fast, last few had great names like Gurl and Moonunit. go me.

You had 6 girls? I thought you couldn't have more than 5 kids!
