Problem with backgrounds - please help

None of my menus or sidebars/standings have backgrounds. If they do they are transparent. I cannot see most of the type because of this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

No worries, I changed 3D settings, all works fine.

I am having the same problem. Could you elaborate on how to fix this? How do you change your 3D settings?

OOTP folder, game configuration file, toggle 3D setting.

I'm not sure if this is related but I had 2x AA enabled (Geforce 3) for Freelancer. After booting up OOTP5 afterwards I noticed the transparent menus and standings. Turning off AA fixed it.
