Disable auto save on exit

Any way to do that?
Last night I added an expansion team to my league and tried to restructure my league. Everything went haywire and teh structure went all over the place and the same teams were being put into both divisions simultaeneousl, yet disaapearing in the actiual game. Only way to fix it was to reload an earlier save, which was useless, because as soon as you try to load a new game it just gets overwritten with your corrupted game.

You can close the game via the task manager, in that case it does not save.

You can also go back to the rolling saves if needed. You will lose a month in that case (if you have autosave monthly) but better then losing the save entirely. Hope that helps...

In addition: do you remember what moves you did so we might reproduce the error? Thanks!

I didn't know you could have rolling saves. Thanks.

At the time the league was Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, New York, Quebec City and Boston. (8 teams, 1 division) Then it was expanded to Detroit. The season added 1 more team in Philadelphia. Diveded the league into 2 confrences, east and west. (Now there are two blanks to fill in Conf/div names, and I'm not sure which to use. I tried the 1st one, then deleted teh names and put them in the second boxes. Could that have created issues?) At first all the teams were in the East Division. DET and BUF were moved over to the west just fine. But TOR and OTW kept thier entries in the East after I moved them over to he west.

Um, how do you reload one of your rolling saves?

And now the playoffs are totally screwed up.

Started up again from an old backup an the external HD. What I'm doing is running an old timey league back in the early 1900's. STarted with 10 teams and a 6 team playoff. Dropped to 9 teams, then 8 with a 4 team playoffs. Back to 9, then to 10 teams, 2 conferences and a 6 team playoff. Had the same structure problem again. Found that if I clicked on say New York, and "added" them to the East conf, where they already were, the standings screen placed them there, even though the structure screen had them twice in the east. But the season progressed fine after that until I reached the playoffs. NY, BOS and PHI were th etop 3 in the east, while PIT, TOR and DET were the top 3 in the west. But when it generated teh playoff bracketing, NY was given both bye slots, and PIT faced off against PIT?!?! hit continue to see what would happen and the game crashed.

To reload the rolling saves, just copy the contents of the rs_one or rs_two folders into the main folder of that save (i.e., the one that containts the two rs_ subfolders), overwriting the files that are there now.

If you can upload the current save (instructions here) before you do that, though, I'd like to have a look at it to see if we can figure out exactly how it broke.

I'll upload the save later today.
I do have some more info that might help: I loaded up an old save from my external HD, and proceeded to expand the league again to 10 teams, but this time NOT dividing them into 2 confrences. No problems and the playoffs worked fine, including proper seeding. So perhaps the issue is in the league structrue?
