Facegen images vs photos

Wanted to try out the voting option, so I thought this would be a good way to see what everyone's preference is.

Nice... I really like this, a hybrid facegen... would be cool to have the option within FHM5 to do this automatically, and provide a third option for profile images (photo, facegen, hybrid). It would provide some new options for goalie masks, especially from the '50s-'80s.

That is actually pretty awesome. Would totally be cool to have this feature. It would allow for the use of no helmets as well for profile pictures, showing hair. Kind of how the real NHL player photos go, and the jersey would still update when players trade teams.

The only issue I could see is we would need the dimensions and locations where to place the .png head shot so it aligns correctly.

Photos are nice but at soon as you are playing with random generated players, they become irrelevant and facegen is better.

I just substitute other players pics for fictional players, generally picking someone from the same country, i.e. Mats Sundin below. BTW, I think the black and white looks pretty cool, as well. See Mike Richter substituting for an American fictional goalie.
