2018 with just Original 6 teams

I've been trying tonight to figure out how to set up a league with the Original 6 teams only, with an initial draft. I thought it would be fun to have just the best current guys compete.

So in other words, have just 6 teams but all the current players available for an initial draft.

I was able to reduce the league to 6 teams, but with no draft, All the players dumped into FA, but found no way to start putting the FA on teams manually which I guess could be a work around.

Any ideas ?

You'd have to edit them onto the teams manually in commissioner mode, there's no way to do an initial draft in a modern start.

You should also deactivate the cap or expand it to a very high number, or you're going to see really weird behaviour from the AI because there'll be no, or very little, cap space available across the league.
