CHL Draft

Im currently controlling an OHL Team and was curious if there is somewhere before the draft that says if a player from europe would consider playing in the OHL b4 i waste a high draft pick on him in the CHL draft.

Or is it just like real life and I have to take a chance and hope?

If he's eligible for the draft, he's interested in playing major junior. The draft screens out anyone who isn't.
