How to Fix a Mistake

So. I did something really stupid. In "League Settings," under the "Other Functions" heading, I meant to click "Run OSA & Human Scouting Reports," but accidentally clicked the above button, "Randomize Player Names." Yes, I know that was really dumb. The other stupid thing that I did is fail to backup the league. Is there any way to reverse this? (I suppose if there's not, I deserve it.)

Is the game still up and running? Because if it is, you may get away with abending it by hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del and selecting Task Manager. Highlight OOTP 19 and click "End Task." (This is Windows, obviously. I don't know Mac but there's probably something similar).

This hopefully will end the game before it saves what you did. If not, then I hate to say it but without a backup you are up the creek, unfortunately.

Other than closing the app and reverting the league back to your last save, I don't believe there is anything you can do sadly. Sucks to hear that, best of luck.

I had done a lot of work editing players ratings and so forth. I was using it as a template for other leagues I play. (For example, making Jesus Agular and Max Muncy not suck.)

wait! lol i know i am late..

if you "end task" that's just as if you click the "x" or close the window.

you want to "end process" ootp18.exe. right click the ootp18.exe entry or highlight it and click button to end process below. (process tab, not windows)

were you editing exported files?

can sort by player id and copy/paste it to the post-renamed export file.. then import it back in. if you have an old export you worked on handy...

if new players have been created since.. you may need to scan through and make sure playerid's are matching up -- unless you purged db it should be lock and step.
