How To Make The Screen Less Glaringly Bright

I really hope the guys come up with a darker skin but until then here is a somewhat clunky workaround if you're using Windows....

Go to Windows Settings/System/Display and in there is a setting that Microsoft call "Night Light Settings". You can define a time period and a level of "warmth" during which the screen becomes a warmer hue. Meant to save your eyes before bedtime - but worth a go if you're sitting at the screen for any length of time.

Give it a try !

Good idea. Another one: Why not simply turn down the brightness of your monitor?

I mean, whoever has issues with the brightness of the new skin would also have issues with surfing the web, or working with MS Office etc.

Anyway, I am sure the FHM team will have a solution in a future update for those who want a darker shade of the background colors.

Thanks Markus, yes surfing the web and looking at Forums is an issue as well. Many companies are realizing this and making changes.

Here is an example of a Forum that is easier on the eyes; I hope you will change the OOTP Forum to a darker background as well.

Ugh, that looks terrible to me... but maybe a slight yellowish teint could work.

My brightness is fine across all other games/websites. Could you please make a darker theme? The skin is awful compared to every other FHM release. Love the game don't get me wrong my eyes just cannot stand the UI. I get migraines easy and it hurts whether I turn the brightness up or down.

A dark version is coming. Just testing it now, there are a few little glitches but it's looking pretty good. Once our stream from this week is up on youtube, you'll be able to get a preview of it there.
