Players Traded Then Released
I traded away Chris Davis, retaining 100% of his salary, at the deadline in 2020. The Padres released him a week later. But I no longer owe him any money, it was wiped from the books. His contract should have expired after the 2022 season. He did not retire, and the Padres don't have him listed under "Team Salary" either.
First time doing a bug report, I don't know if I added the league files correctly. I titled the folder "9.19.2019 OOTP 19 Salaries.zip". Let me know Let me know if there's any other information I should provide. Or if there's some obscure MLB rule that I don't know about which causes this. |

One thing i would check first is whether you have any money under the misc expenses. If he's been released then he won't show up on the salary page, but we should allocate that money under the expenses.

This year's Misc Expenses are $16,858,641. I don't know what that consists of, but maybe the rest of his salary? 2021 (-$7,199,828) and 2022 (-$19,949,672) both have negative misc expenses though.
Edit: I first noticed something was off when my payroll dropped a lot, and money for free agents and extensions rose considerably. Last edited by SpeedCpt; 09-19-2018 at 09:46 PM. |

Thanks. It turns out we are assigning properly, however due to floating point issues, the value can go negative in some cases. So yes, those large negative values should be large positive values.
