Rivalries

I think there should be a setting for rivalries between two teams (listed similar to how popular players are listed). For example, the Yankees might have the Red Sox listed as archrivals, the Orioles and Rays as rivals, etc. These would change over time based on how the team does, who they play in the playoffs, and any memorable seasons. Teams may be a little less inclined to trade with a rival, and ticket sales should also increase for rivalry games. This isn't a huge change by any means, but it would make the game a little more realistic.

I also think this would be a great addition. For another added touch, it would also be cool if a rivalry game had a chance of being delayed due to fans fighting each other in the stands or invading the field or something like that.
