Oops... Looks like I made a mistake

I am having a good season but needed another good starter. So sent my one starter who was having problems and an extra reliever to get Cody Bales. A veteran who lead the league in wins last year and was 10-0 this year. Not bad... First five games with me... WHAT???

All those negative personality traits. I wouldn't have touched him with a 10-foot pole.

Ok so my team made the Finley Cup (Championship series) and Mr Bales was my starting pitcher Game 2 (Why my manager started him is another discussion I will have with my manager).

First pitch, he let up a home run to left field.
Second batter got a hit into right field.
Third batter, hit a home run to right field.

He is the ouch that keep on giving...

I don't know why it's not letting me attach anything, but I wanted to ask how you get it to zoom out the player at the top of the page as well. Mine is at the armpits, but yours is down at the abs so you can see more of the uniform

The option is on the "Settings"-page

that's not the reason for the struggle. Personality is overrated.

I can't seem to figure out how to see the personality traits because my game doesn't show that on the player's page.

That is what I keep telling potential partners, but it's never helping me...

i'm sure i'm just being fooled by randomness, but when i see a great year or stretch late in a career, i get scared. it's like a last flicker of a flame before it dies out.

it's just the lucky ones, though. if his ratings had taken a hit previously to the 10-0 start and the good prior year, then it was just luck that he overperformed in that time.

that guy's K/9 is dropping and WHIP is rising. it was happening slowly, if it didn't just precipitously drop (overall compared to potential of various pitches in your screenshot).

if that drop off in ratings happened between trade and 'next' scouting report, you had no way of knowing. if it was evident before, you shot yourself in the foot with this one.

ratings are lead indicators, assuming they are accurate. no way around that.
