Ability to have three leagues in your OOTP world
I would love if OOTP would allow three equal leagues to operate as Major leagues. What if the Federal League survived and even thrived and became a third league? I would love the option to play through that type of fictional world.
And while we are on this topic... I would love the ability to have a three way playoff system. One where three teams make the playoffs. The teams play round robin, stay "alive" until one team loses 4 games. Once you lose the fourth game you are out. Remaining two teams play until one of those teams lose their fourth and now we have a winner... |

if you unaffiliate the federal league after the 1915 season it will stick around forever as a major league as long as you also change the league level to major
works for any league after its history ceases I am in 2012 and the negro leagues are still rolling

While it's not quite like having 3 sub-leagues (which I think is what you're really looking for), you can create a League Association which allows the associated leagues to have some common rules, a shared draft, and a playoff tournament between leagues. It's a little bare-bones, but it's as close as OOTP gets.
