Question about using recal button
Should I recalculate before each season or only once? How long does the recalculation stay in effect?

Honestly, in most cases you don’t even really have to ever hit that button.
But if you are particularly fussy about your stats looking a certain way, then most people seem to think it’s a good idea to hit it once per season, usually at the start of spring training. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think if you’re going to sim long term (many many years) then it doesn’t hurt to do once a season.

In my fictional league I auto calculate the modifiers to the 1994 level the day before opening day each season. I like the statistical output for that particular year (get some 20+ game winners, can get some 50 homer guys) and doing it yearly keeps the league with a sort of baseline to value against for guys with careers in different decades. You still see spikes and slumps in numbers to keep things interesting.
