Generic Splits w / 2018 MLB QuickStart?

I asked this in the main forum in slightly more expansive form, but my basic question is: Does the option to choose generic splits exists for the current-year QuickStart(s), or only for Historical games? My gratitude in advance for any feedback, and my apologies if I have breached protocol by asking in a second forum.

The 2018 Quickstart is not a historical season. I would not think that this option is available.

OK, so that option is only for the historical game creation. I do appreciate the clarification.
