Playoff MVP Selections still need work

This from my most recent playoffs

NLCS - SD over Phi 4-1
MVP - Player from Phillies - Tough call but there's a couple candidates from SD for sure.

WS - Bos over SD 4-1
MVP - Player from Padres - No brainer for me, shoulda been Boston SP Jerry Long.

I don't disagree, but at the same time, it's not like it was given to some guy with marginal performance. Dude hit .600 for the series. I would have liked it better if he'd knocked in a few runs or something.

Again, overall I agree that Long should have been MVP though.

No, it wasn't given to some guy with a marginal performance, it was given to a guy who did nothing to help his team win. So he hit .600, how much good did that do for the Padres? Maybe he was the MVP of his team, but not even close to being MVP of the WS.

Jarvis had a pretty good series for Boston as well, it's not like the SP was the only option.
