talk back to the other GMs insulting offer

When i make an offer for one of a team's better players, no matter what i offer, i get told this is an insult, or get back to me when you have something good to offer. But when the AI offers me a 3rd string short-stop for my star CF, who was 3rd in MVP voting, i just get to reject it or ignore it. How about the ability to tell the other GM off? Instead i just curse the computer and move on now. Not very satisfying. Anyway, might be a nice feature for 20.

Oh...so you get to tell me to stick it, but I just quietly blow you off?
Anyone got suggestions for responses?? This could get really interesting!

yep. i supposed we need to keep the comments civil enough to keep the "E" rating for the game. That certainly limits some of the ideas i had.

"You must be drunk to make an offer like that. Get back to me if you're ever sober."
"You must have dialed the wrong number. This is NOT the Apex garage collection service."
"Sorry, this isn't the Comedy Central audition line."
"Mr. Fagin should have trained you to be less than an obvious thief."

I grew a bit tired of being slammed, too. I gave the opposing GMs the equivalent of a chill pill. I edited the english.xml and calmed them down a tad.

Honestly I'd rather time be spent on actually improving trade logic than this, but it is a funny idea

Haha Mitchkenn, definitely a needed aspect in the game.
And it could be done much the same way other aspects are done, with standard responses to the AI GMs available in a preset text file, with the option of editing the files to add our own responses.
The game could be sold with the "E" rating, but we would not be censored within our own text files.

You do realize you'd be insulting a computer program, right?

I'd enjoy some more middle ground responses from other GMs. There are lots of close deals that they call insults, and I'd rather the feedback from them be lots closer to the truth.
