color.ini and textcolors.ini values?

Right now these files are comprised of a bunch of lines with values, but no description. Could we get a text file that explains what each value represents in the game??

There was a guide for the v4 colors, a lot of it is probably still the same, or close. It was discussed in the general forum, search for it there.

I've been looking for this everywhere and can't seem to find it.

It would be helpful if Marcus could release a document explaining what each value represents in both the colors.ini and textcolors.ini files.

Also helpful would be a description of what each .bmp file represents.

I'm blindly changing the values and going into OOTP to see exactly what has changed but I'm beginnig to pull my hair out.

I'm not sure the colors.ini file does much. I kind of think it's just a list of colors. It's the same for all but the wood grain file. The text colors I'm trying to figure out still. For those wanting to change font, check the styles file. If I ever do figure out the text colors, I will post my findings. In the text colors files, they're all the same except for line 11 which is just varying shades of light blue. In the silver green skin, lines 2 and 5 are also different. I went through and wrote out which lines are which colors. If that piques anyone's interest, I'll post it. Otherwise, I'll save the typing.

Somewhere here I posted a big long explanation of everything. It was in the middle of another crazy post. The styles file is for the html report pages. I will see if I can remember where it was that I posted that explanation.
