Is it me orrrrrrr
Have you guys/gals noticed when you trade a minor league player to an AI team mid-season...they will not promote that player after by default they're placed in their low level R ball team.
My last two trades I've traded a AAA prospect and a AA prospect and both teams just let them sit and play for their low level rookie ball team (where they go by default after the trade) instead of promoting them after the trade. |

I too have noticed this, but is not always the case. Haven't figured out the pattern.

I haven't noticed it but I have service time enabled so they wouldn't be allowed in Rookie League most of the time unless they had 2 or 3 years of service.

I have seen players go straight to the majors and be a starter and have seen some practically retire at end of season. One time had a trade where I didn't like him but he went to a team and turned into a solid player near HOF. Yes minor league trade was after trade deadline. From what I have seen if you get an email of a player your willing to get rid of that's in the minors that the player they want they will do what they can and might bump him up to bigs if they need him badly
