highandoutside All Star Reserve Join Date: Mar 2004 Posts: 695	Rust and cancelled Spring Training Quick question: If you set up a league with no Spring Training, will players begin the season with "rust"? I've noticed that if you play a shortened Spring Training schedule (one week) players begin the season rusty because they have something like four weeks off between the end of ST and the beginning of the regular season. Indeed, it appears that shortened Spring Trainings that leave more than 14 days off between the end of ST and the beginning of the season creates rusty players. So, I'm wondering if you turn off ST entirely, does it also toggle off the off-season rust phenomenon? Last edited by highandoutside; 07-10-2018 at 09:56 PM.
