Game looks sharp with real player photos that have transparent backgrounds
I don't know if this is obvious or if other people have tried this out, but this is a real game changer for me.
For me, the historical facegen pack is very hit or miss so I decided to do the actual photos instead. I soon realized though that the issue with historical photos is the backgrounds clash with the rest of the game and can make things ugly. Using lunapic, i was able to turn backgrounds transparent, and boy, do the photos look sharp! It is quite time consuming because I had to go picture by picture and resize. Also, some players don't have great head shots in the uniform I need. I am sure someone smarter than me can figure out a way to do this in chunks. As of now, I finished the team I am controlling, and that might be good enough for now. Also, this works best for single season replay and no trades for obvious reasons I think. Maybe if there is enough interest we can start a thread of real player pictures with transparent backgrounds to help us all out. Anyway here are the pictures and its a nice comparison seeing how the facegen looks vs the real photos: ![]() ![]() ![]()

How do you get the names on the players in the field. I don't have that, and Comiskey Park looks great. Where did that come from?
