I am very new to OOTP.
I've played some SIM games and I'm having a blast. I have figured out some of the GMs job, how to work with the salaries for a team, how to trade, use my minor leagues and how to use my bullpen. I would like answers to the following tech/download questions if possible. How can I download and load historic ballparks? How can I download and/or update a teams' file with logos and uniforms that coincide with real teams? Thank you. Franklin |

There's lots of good stuff in the Mods area of the forum.
Uniforms/logos: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...lay.php?f=3636 Ballparks: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...lay.php?f=3879 The game also includes a lot of historic logos too which will change for the team based on the years. |

Team Home -> Team Settings (or team settings from menu at top, directly)
can change stadium per team with "edit ballpark" button. or modify colors and such to change logo/uniforms. (*memory from '18, so '19 could be slightly different, but syntax that you read in the gui will be similar even so.) if you name them properly before game creation and have the files in the "../data/ballparks" directory, they should auto-load when you create a league with matching team names/cities etc. look at existing ballpark files and mimic how they are named. check manual for file-naming tricks - schedules, logos, all that stuff so that it auto-loads for specific teams. even in fictional leagues, if you have the same city/nickname i am 99% sure it should load the mlb logos for that RL team. if the city/nickname doesn't completely matchup due to fictional reasons, you can copy and rename those files to match new city/nickname or per team go modifiy logos or ballpark etc in team settings and manually select the correct file. imo, editing some file names is faster for a large # of teams. After game creation -- let's say you have added files or changed some file names to match up. they now also reside in the respective data\ballparks data\logos et al. directories. as you load a league there is an checkbox related to logos and such. check it before loading your league and if all the files are named to match your teams, they should auto-load. you may need to fix a straggler here or there for various reasons mostly human error related.
