Question about historical rookies import

I am in April 1976 of my historical dynasty with rookies currently being automatically assigned to their original teams. I would prefer not to expand for 1977.

My question is this: Is there a way to get rookies for Toronto and Seattle into the game in 1977 and beyond without expanding and with the rookies of the other 24 teams still getting assigned to their original teams? I don't want to change the setting to have all of the MLB rookies be free agents.

It should automatically for you, no need to change a thing
Players are automatically imported as free agents if the Team ID doesn't mach.
So if there is no SEA or TOR then they will just be made FA's. This will happen for any teams that change names as well IE Montreal becoming Washington.
Make sure automatic expansion is turned off or the game will make these changes for you.

Thanks for the response! And your second remark also answers another question I might have had in the event I decide to bring in Toronto and Seattle and contract two other franchises instead (like Milwaukee and Texas). Thanks again!
