Cuba and Australian Leagues Bugged?
I didn't catch the Australian League "bug" and it has purchase players on by default at $250,000 but there draft has MLB type of potential just a super smaller size since its not 40 rounds of 30 teams. All there PCM's are set to 1 and if your in challenge mode you can't alter them.
Well AI GM's noticed long before me and started buying prospects. Made sure to leave that league out now. Seems the US and Asian Indy leagues work pretty good. With non drafted, league cuts, or aging players going into the indy's. I really like including the Mexican league as its an Official AAA MLB league just unaffiliated. US Indy's are really important if you add MLB service time and roster size qualifications to your minor leagues. If not there are thousands and thousands of free agents eventually. But Cuba and Australia are def Bugged out since they each have their own drafts and create fictional free agents. They produce MLB quality draftees. Cuba doesn't really count since its financial system is disabled by default which means no free agents; but if you turn it on and are in challenge mode you can't alter the PCM's. Which are set to MLB level for drafts. Australia is set to MLB level for drafts and any created fictional players. So if you are doing a fictional league everyone in Australian are MLB ready and purchasable for $250,000. So I have to make sure to uncheck them when loading up the defaults. Again its a problem with Challenge Mode since we can't modify the options like PCM's. Tried searching and only saw a couple threads with mentioning this. I guess people don't play with Cuba or Australia????? |

I'm guessing the population of people that play in challenge mode and have an Australian league are fairly small. I used to have all international leagues but then I realized the Taiwan and Australian leagues are really just taking up space so I just have the KBO, ***, LMB, and SNB which sets up a nice international tournament at the end of the season which is usually dominated by the Japanese with the Cubans coming in a distant second in terms of championships.
