Playing game on second computer via steam

I have installed OOTP 19 on a second computer (laptop), using steam.
Is there any way to access the season I am currently playing on my main computer.
When I open up OOTP on the laptop and click on load game, nothing is listed.
Going out of town and would like to take it with me.

Copy the saved game over to your second computer.
The .lg file

Copy the entire .lg folder. You will have to “load game” manually the first time.

anyone got a screen shot of this. I'm looking to do this but am not a computer guy. any suggestions on doing this onto a external hard drive so i can just from PC to lap top. my pc is in the basement it would be amazing to have this game be on the go. i'm 11 years into my history replay (1911) or to have the game sit with me on a patio with a drink

One option is just copy the .lg Folder from your saved game folder and copy and paste between the two computers.

Or change the save file location on both installations to your external drive

That should allow you to swap between computers as you like, bearing in mind the drive letter never gets changed but that's a problem for later

Maybe for OOTP 48 Markus will finally realize that cloud technology exists and actually advertise it as a feature.

I personally backup and restore to a network drive. serves the dual purpose of allowing game on both, and frequently backing up my important leagues.

This is such a great idea. It would be cool if future games had the Steam Cloud save option like the Paradox Grand Strategy games. Very similiar feel to OOTP.

You could even use Google Drive to completely sync Your OOTP file directory to the cloud eliminating the need to do a manual backup and restore on the laptop. But always do backups they save your life!!!!

Just install the app on both computers. Profit??
