Challenge Mode help/advice needed
I started a Challenge Mode historical series 1977. I’m writing up my very first Dynasty Report and I have spent literally hours gathering and collecting all types of information/stats/stories etc.
The first season is over, it was a blast. Now first amateur draft is upon me And then this happens….. The Amateur Draft Pool was announced today, Thursday 12/15/1977. Some of the most notable players that will never make it to the big leagues are: Bob Ojeda, Jesse Orosco, Steve Bedrosian, Mike Boddicker, Dave Dravecky, Charlie Leibrandt, Mike Witt, Ryne Sandberg & Cal Ripken Jr. I have written numerous pages, dozens of paragraphs for my Dynasty Report as I had intended to play this series through to the modern day. I now have to ask myself; how can I play my replay league without Cal Ripken Jr.? How are some of the most notable names of that time period just shells of their former selves? So now I’m stuck. Do I continue until 2018 and beyond with no Cal? No Ryne? How much of a dynasty report is it going to be without some of the biggest names in the game? What about subsequent drafts? How many other hall of famers will be left in the minors? I’m sorry for the tone I’m just frustrated. I literally spent hours upon hours writing up, finding photos, stats the, whole 9 yards in order to produce my first ever Dynasty Report only to have this many players in the very first amateur draft be un-draftable? So, what do I do? Continue? How great of a fear should I have that other greats will be so poorly rated that they too won’t ever be in the majors? I hate to quit as I hate to quit anything however I don’t want to continue if this is going to happen each and every season then again I hate to throw away a lot of hours on what I have completed already, the entire 1977 season. Help!
