Haven't seen this yet, pretty cool feature.

(Forgive me if someone brought this up already, but this is the first time I've seen it.) So one of my players I signed came to me asking about a charity he was working with. As you can see in the picture I had three options of what I wanted to do. Do nothing, make a one time donation, or start a charity. I chose to start a charity just to see what would happen.

I got an email from the player a few days later thanking me for my generosity and I then checked my finances and it was about $2-$3 million less then the day before. (Luckily I'm the Red Sox, so this was nothing.) My team support and fan interest increased as well. I don't know what the limit is, because I was almost maxed out on loyalty, support, and fan interest to begin with, but it seems like a good way of getting a big jump in support. Also, the individual player's morale improved pretty high, as well.

Pretty neat little feature! Now I'm wondering what would happen if I chose to do nothing...?

Yes pretty cool. I did the same think (i'm the Yankees and have a lot of money to burn): i guess if i did nothing my popularity would go down and the press start complaining about how selfish the Yankees are

I was wondering myself what happens either way (philanthropist or miser) and I appreciate the clues of what to look for afterwards. I used to know how to look up this stuff in the game as to the nuts and bolts; maybe I will try to do so again tonight.

All I know is what I already posted. The public's view of my team increased, but I don't really know by how much since the Sox are already almost at max popularity, the individual player's morale was boosted, and I lost around $3 million in money used to sign free agents (not extension money). I don't know if I will lose that amount every year or if it was a one time thing but I'll post with an update once I find out. I bet if I went into commish mode I could find out in the financials.

I'd be interested in knowing what would happen if I declined or simply gave a small donation.
