Thank you OOTP and community

While sitting at the auto mechanics waiting room, playing a game of OOTP I was overcome with the thought that I have to give thanks for this game and this community which has given me so much joy. Sooo...

I want to thank the OOTP team for creating such an awesome game. Since I was a child, I always wanted to play a baseball game which I was GM. Overseeing a team, trying to be the best while experiencing the ups and downs of this "challenge". Not knowing the future, seeing prospects develop (or regress) is a thrill and a headache all at the same time.

I also want to thank this community. With all the talented, generous posters who create stadiums, logos, caps and uniforms which populate my league and make the experience all the more enjoyable.

Absolutely! For all the nitpicking of gameplay that we do, it shows how incredible of a job the developers have done in creating such an immersive experience with the game we love!

I played in the waiting room as the kid was put under for wisdom tooth removal. I'm pretty sure people thought I had my laptop out in the waiting room because I was busy working off hours.

So when the mechanic was done did you tell him to check under the hood for more repairs since you were in the middle of an OOTP game?
