Manual 1972 change wsh to tex

I am doing historical sim starting with 1971 with no auto expanions.
Play in commissioner mode
Season has finished.
How do I make the changes so that Washington Sen become Texas Rangers.
I just went to the League Settings and changed the name and set abbr = TEX
I opened the team/settings and see the following set
Historical Team ID: WS2
Franchise Team ID: TEX
(I am not sure if those should be reversed)
I see no way to import a stadium. I am still stuck with RFK instead of Arlington. Although if i 'act as' texas mgr, i can add a new park from scratch.

I think if you have auto expansion on, the team will automatically convert from Washington to Texas.

That is the problem, I don't want the AUTO expansion on. Because that ruins EVERYTHING for any MANUAL expansion.

I am so surprised other people don't play historical with manual expansions

You don't need to "act as" anyone to recreate Arlington Stadium.

You can turn Auto Expansion on for the one off-season then turn it right back off in the Spring.

i am not certain if you need to be in Commish mode to manually import stadiums or not - i'm doing this from a flawed memory as i am not at my game computer, so some steps may be missing but in general - to change the stadium, go to team page, then to edit financials tab, on that (or the next) screen should be edit ball parks. You'll need to go down to the setting that says to manually import ballparks (it's on the right side of the page, down the list a bit.). When you click that - it may not take you directly to files with Arlington stadium. But it should take you to the ball parks files and you may need to look in a number folders to find Arlington. (Or you could do that before hand and know where to look?) Hope this makes sense. good luck.
