OOTP 19 Modification Questions

I recently purchased OOTP 19, and I had a few questions I'd like to see if I could get answered:

First, if I want to run a historical simulation, but wanted to modify certain franchise events (for example, keeping the Dodgers from moving out of Brooklyn, having expansion happen but with a fictional team, having a team not change the name of their stadium to some corporate name), is there a place to go to make these changes so they automatically happen?

Second, I want to make certain I am using the proper naming conventions when adding in customized logos, jerseys, ball caps, etc. From what I understand, a logo should be named "CityName_TeamNicknme_Year-Year", a jersey should be named "jerseys_CityName_TeamNickname_HomeOrAway_Year-Year", and a cap should be named "caps_CityName_TeamNickname_HomeOrAway_Year-Year". So, for example, a Yankees logo would be "New_York_Yankees_1947-1967", a Yankees jersey would be "jerseys_New_York_Yankees_away_1931-1972", and a Yankees cap would be "caps_New_York_Yankees_1934-1948" (no home or away for the cap, since they wore the same one at home and on the road). Is this correct?
