DD MLB 2003 Facepack

Well, it's finally done. Well, done enough to release for those interested.

This is a 2003 MLB set that, as far as I know, is a bit unique in that it has 2 photos for each player (OOTP5 uses two different formats). It's a big file, and I'm not sure how long I can keep it up on my own space. (so, feel free to host it on your own site - just drop me a line if you do so).

It works with GForces set (ie the names match up with the names in his set, with only a couple of exceptions that we are working on).

What do you mean OOTP5 uses 2 different formats ? It will use 2 different pictures in different screens ?

DD, seeing your first screenshot (in-game) reminded me of something I was wondering could be changed. Is there any way to get rid of the white frame around the player and logo pics in this screen?

that white frame is in the game, not the facepack.

I haven't played around with any of in-game graphics - I suspect it would be something someone could skin out...

This is an .exe not a .zip? Does that mean it automatically goes to the photos folder?

DD just added a little install program to this pack... you can install to wherever you want...

That’s krazy stuff guys, excellent work.

What is the difference in the photo files? Different naming pattern or something? I had some v4 photos import just fine into v5, but I didn’t even know there was an option for two different styles.

.bmp shows up in-game, .jpg shows up on the HTML Card, satchel.

a related tip - if there isn't a jpg for that particular player, the bmp for him will show up instead on the html screen.

not vise versa though.

so, for example, if you wanted the "action" shots to show up in both screens, just delete all the jpgs from the folder...
