Is OOTP 19 ruining my season? Insight Please!

We have a daily league that follows the RL MLB schedule. I am having issues wrapping my head around my team after transferring to the newest version, OOTP 19, from OOTP18. As you know, the ratings and scouting seem to have taken a right turn from OOTP 18 to 19 and I was at first not worried about it. I thought it would work itself out, but now I have become worried.

Below is a chart for my players on my last year team to this years team. We were top 3 in pitching in the NL and this year we are dead last.I know it is a young season but with the performance of these pitchers, who in 18 my scouts were calling very reliable pitchers, I have second guessed how this new game is. I am seeing major increases in my opponents average for MAJORITY of my pitchers as well as my scouting decreasing significantly in this transition.

2017 was in OOTP 18, 2018 Spring Trainig was in OOTP 18, 2018 has been in OOTP 19.

I have also been seeing crazy pitching changes thus far in the season. Starters getting a short lease (mainly due to the performance) as well as relief changes that are going against my strategy settings; one game I had 6 pitchers pitch in one inning. I've become frustrated because my hitting is there when it wasn't last year but my pitching, who I was relying on upon after an offseason to improve hitting, has not come around. A top tier MLB staff has turned into an AA staff from Spring Training to 22 games into the season.

Does anyone have any insight from a frustrated long-time GM? I'm not sure if my team is just this bad or OOTP 19 has destroyed my pitching staff.

I'd suggest you look at two columns in your graphic. First are the innings pitched. 26 is the most by one of your starters. 26 innings can still be considered a pretty small sample size. Second look at the BABIP figures. They're ridiculously high for some of your arms.

The sky is certainly not falling after 3, 4, or 5 starts by your pitchers. Looking at the BABIP numbers chances are far greater than 0 that your staff just has been pretty unlucky.

Then again, one can't rule out that your staff was actually pretty lucky the season before in OOTP 18.

Yea I know the season is fresh and anything can happen but Graveman finished 3rd in ROY, Jankowski was a CY Young contender, and the bullpen was one of the hottest in the league. Wish I could do a mass ratings import so that I could display the differences but not sure how. Since our league started in 2015, my team has had some of the best pitchings in the league.

2015: 3.42 ERA
2016: 3.62 ERA
2017: 3.50 ERA
2018: 5.20 ERA

I'm just afraid that when my season runs day-by-day of the RL MLB that my hard work and time might have been hurt by the transition over to 19.

FYI. When importing into v19 scouting has changed so you will see differences in how your scout sees players. BUT the internal ratings do not change so the actual talent/potential of the players isn't modified by the import. There may be differences in the development engine and such but you are probably pretty early to see any differences there.

Your sample size is very small. Some of the players may have bad seasons compared to previous years and others may recover as the season progresses.

Wisler is doing alright, the other starters have ridiculously high BABIP which must be very bad luck. I wouldn't be worried if their FIP is okay.
