Which ratings to believe?

I've noticed an inconsistency between the ratings that show up in various lists and the ones on profiles. I don't mean the difference between OSA and my scout, I mean the ratings that appear in lineups and the ones that show up when I hit "Scouting" on a player.

Anyone know which is the most up to date? I'm guessing the profile but don't know.

Or even better, is there a way to get these to sync? I use these ratings a lot and it makes doing pretty much everything more difficult when I have to open each profile.

This confused me at first. all really depends on I your scout is good. if he is good trust his ratings 100%. OSA is good for MLB players but NEVER trust them when it comes to drafting or even the minors. they are a very understaffed organization and don't put much time in on younger guys.

I'm not talking about my scout versus OSA. I'll give you an example.

I shopped a guy around and in the trade list a player showed up with my scout's ratings as 2.5 stars current and 2.5 potential. When I opened the profile and went to the Scouting report, they were 1.5 and 1.5 The OSA ratings also weren't the same.

This happens constantly and makes lining up trades difficult. It made the draft a guessing game (even more than usual.)

I am also wondering about this. As the OP said, not Scout vs. OSA, Profile Tab vs. Scouting Tab.

It's mostly pitchers. Check out the player below. Profile (left) says he has 58/58 Stuff. Scouting (right) says it's 69/69 for the most recent report. That's a drastic difference and I see it for most pitchers (and it doesn't even match the summaries at the top). I tend to trust the Profile, but I'm curious about why this happens.

FYI, having him scouted again doesn't fix it like previous versions of OOTP.

As motioned in my thread, I would LOVE the OOTP staff to weigh in on this issue. It is very frustrating when you try to do trades to have a distrust of the ratings.
