Longest homer hit?
Eddie Mathews just crushed one 495 feet at the Polo Grounds. Makes me wish the game had a home run tracker. What's the longest bleacher feature everybody's seen in this game?

I'm usually busy throwing something or jumping around and miss the distance. I should start paying attention so I don't miss an Adam "Big Donkey" Dunn HR into another state.

Semi related: on high heat 2002 I once hit a 2,000 foot homerun that went through the Metrodome with Cristian Guzman.

552 feet down the rightfield line - the fence was 330 feet away from home plate.

change the dimensions of your field and you'll get longer homeruns...

Not the longest I've seen, but one that stood out to me was a 433-foot homer I surrendered to Miller Huggins - the "Mighty Mite" who was 5'6", 140 pounds, and hit 9 homers in 13 real-life seasons.
I'm assuming that the homer distances are not tied to player size. |
