Most irritating sound effect?

For me it's the guy yelling "Ye'ah.....ye'ah.. ye'ah"

He sounds a bit Hans and Franz from SnL. I'd love to find the specific file but after searching through them I haven't been able to find this exact sound clip.

Just wondering if anyone else has a sound clip that drives them crazy when they here it?

Could never stand the "walk up" music. Labeled as "intro" or similar in the sound folder, IIRC. Replaced it with these:

I also changed those exact files. I'm playing in 1902 so they certainly were not a good fit for my league.

The guy that invites you to "join in singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame". Hate that one, would be nice to just get a 3rd version of the song.

Most irritating sound effect? To me, pretty much all of them.

This aspect of OOTP actually makes me miss MLB The Show.

I grabbed clips of other songs that I think are played after seventh-inning stretch in different parks (Deep in the Heart of Texas at Minute Maid Park, for example) and replaced the stretch songs in the game with those. I also replaced some of the rally clips with other typical in-game organ music or bugle charge sound effects that I found over the Internet or YouTube.

I deleted the take me out to the ballgame files. I dont stop and listen to it, I keep going and the song keeps playing in the background as we play the 8th inning. Annoying at times. Deleted the "no way! no way!" guy as well.

What's the name of the NO WAY guy's file, BTW?

I always get rid of Strike_three1.ogg. The difference between that umpire voice and the other Strike_three voices really bothers me. Why would his voice change from one batter to the next?

I've been deleting some of the sounds, but I wonder if there is a more detailed list as to which are which, as there are some I would like to keep.

Yes, it is the most obnoxious. I am looking to get more sound files so I don't hear this guy as much. Yeah yeah yeah....

I like to eliminate these files:

Sliding
strike three
yer out
crowd cheer after foul ball

One sound I wish we had was a ball hitting the catchers glove after pitches.

I think there's a lot of scope for modding the sound if we could get some kind of list of what can be used.

I know that adding more files of the same name with a number will get them used as the game picks one randomly like boo_heavy1, 2 etc etc.

I wonder if more things could be added to the game telling it to look for more precise files in the sounds folder? Foul ball, ball hitting the catcher's mitt, a specific teams 7th inning song as mentioned earlier, cheers for a specific situation sounds like a game winning hit and so on?
