Re-starting a season

This question has probably been asked before and I have done a search but haven't found anything. I'm just over a week into simulating a season and I would like to start it over and make changes prior to simulating any games. Is there a way to re-start the season or do I just have to delete it and start another one?

When setting up a new league and getting your settings the way you want, I would suggest saving it as a quick start so you can come back to this same point and make any changes you want, over and over.

No, you cannot restart.

For future reference you can make a backup at any time then save it with a unique name. That alone would make a restart easy.

I do this all the time.
Makes it extremely easy to start your league over again as many times as you like.

Absolutely always back up your game just before the season begins.

backup, quickstart, templates... all your friends for vaious good reasons.

one tip: if oyu want more than "1" backup copy, realize it incrementally updates these backups to save time... so, if it's a new "copy" of a league that is already backedup.. use the "full backup copy" [sic] check box option.

as long as you don't sim a day, you can keep using the incremental for the "other" copy..

the one you want to lock needs a different directory name, of course...

in 1950, 10 years in, you may want a 2nd backup.. append "-1950" to the directory you want to lock at 1950, then in game use the full backup option to recreate the backup directory that will be incrementally updated in future as you click "update" as you normally would.

as long as you do this the same day without doing anything or playing a game... they are initially aexactly the same..

a copy/paste duplicate directory will do the same thing through your windows/mac OS. it will only incrementally update the correctly named backup directory.
