I've been working on perfecting my in-game screen (classic mode) and couldn't get everything to fit without having my skyline blocked. The trouble is the pbp box "top center" hides high flyballs, home runs, and aesthetically takes away from the realistic look of the stadium. But, it was the only place I could find for the pbp widget that didn't block some of the field. One thought I had was, since I never read the pbp anymore with TTS on, "could I play without the pbp box and just rely on text to speech?" Of course there is no way to hide the pbp box.
Or is there? Check it out, before and after "hiding" the pbp box I used that nice gap at the bottom and slid the pbp box off the screen leaving only the IF and OF defensive controls visible. This allows me to set my defense and see the AI's. I know the numbers of all of the offensive and defensive options and if I find myself forgetting one I can simply grab and drag the box up and then put it back I know it won't be for everyone but man, I am loving this

2560*1440, 27 inch screen. Out of town scores may not be pretty but they add a ton of immersion
Here are the settings...
