Couple Of Items

Historical replay started from 1917-18 season....Can't sim day by day or just finish the day. Not a manger or coach for any team. Have commissioners mode checked. Find trades are not being announced or messages shown in my daily message reports. Makes it hard to track player movement. I'm sure I've just done something wrong.Also, how do I get the transactions log?? It was the one that showed players moving to and from teams, then showing plus or minus points on the right side, for players they lost based on their ratings.When I click I only get team transactions. Not the one showing all the teams, with logos, and player movement.Again something I must not be doing right.ThanksRick

If you want to go day-by-day instead of several days at a time while you're not managing a team, on the Game Settings screen (Game menu, Setup/Options), select "Always sim day-by-day."

It sounds like something may have been turned off in your news subscriptions. On the news screen (the envelope icon in the top-left bar), click on News Subscriptions. Under News Subscriptions Settings, the leagues you want to see should be listed - if they're not, add them via the Add League button. If they're already there, click the edit button and make sure some of the story types, like transactions, haven't been turned off.

The transaction log you're looking for is in the Free Agent Centre under the team menu - there are two tabs at the top of that screen, the second one (labeled "Transfer Summary") gives you the list you want.

I figured out the last part last night....changed to daily sim....and my news subscriptions are all checked....

I'll see if running the daily sim makes a difference. Thanks for the support.

Ok...so I'm near the trading deadline and sim day to day....no trades coming up on the New Subscriptions as of Jan 25th. Go to Free Agent center and transfer summary....showing a few trades...Click on Ottawa's trade...check history of the player and it shows he was traded on Jan 24th.Toronto players on Jan 16th...NY Americans on Jan 20th....Have all news subscriptions checked but they are not coming up.I have been deleting my messages as I go along....could this be the issue???Thanks again...Rick

Sim into next season NHL 1931-32, Montreal makes a trade on Aug 28th, not reported...Montreal Maroons make a trade on Sept 26th, not showing....don't know why....all other subscriptions show up....I'm going to try removing then adding the league back in.....and not delete any messages after I read them...see if that works...Rick

Ok...I've got trades showing up again and more news subscription items then before.

What I did was add each team on the "News Subscription Settings" and everything works like a charm.

I now have the league and all teams listed.

Not sure why or how because this has never been an issue before...but I'm happy that it's working.

Good to hear, although I'm surprised it wasn't giving you the news without having all the teams selected. I'll do a little checking as to what's going on there.
