On Field Colors for Players

I have been playing the Cardinals, and I noticed that the color of my on field area that encapsulates the name shows up as "Blue". Why would it not be "Red" for the Cardinals, as there is no Blue in their colors? I can't see where you might be able to change that. I believe it should be Red by default anyway. Thanks

The colors automatically get chosen based on the contrast between logo and color, so it chooses either the team background or team text color. The only exception are the Red Sox which use their primary logo on red background.We cannot change this, it's MLB guidelines. In your case you could set the Cardinal's text & background color to red manually in the team setup / logo / uniform dialog (bottom option of team menu).
