Game Screen Suggestion

GET RID OF THE TEAM LOGO's (we know who is playing) and make the score a CLASSIC scoreboard with Hits-Runs-Error. I think you miss the stadium or TV feel without H-R-E for each team.

You get R-H-E or even the complete linescore if you have enough screen size available. So I suggest changing your resolution.

And no, the team logos will stay.

I have to second the thoughts of the original post regarding the omission of Hits & Errors (I like the logos though)

Not all of us have the luxury of large screens. This, coupled with some odd design choices in the scorebug, means that some key information is missing.

The Balls,Strikes and Outs could just be displayed as numbers as those dots take up a lot of unnecessary real-estate. The bases diagram just doesn't need to be there at all, that's what the 3D field is for.

And this year I can't seem to find a way to remove that annoying microphone. I don't know why it annoys me, it just always has.

A few small changes and even those of us with smaller screens should still be able to see Hits & Errors.

Markus, don't change a thing. It's great as is, and it looks like a game broadcast scoreboard.

Please DO NOT remove the team logos from the game screen. Yes, we know who is playing, but it's an immersion thing.

Sorry, but what you propose does not work. Where the mic is, this space is used for buttons prior to the play. Also, the bases and count / outs indicator looks great and I wouldn't want to change it. Trust me, the way it is designed makes the most out of available space and strikes the perfect balance between design and info, at least in our opinion

Actually I LIKE the logos....I don't work my ass off to look for logos and not to get to look at them during the game!

I would like changes as per my previous post about the standings/score and the exit and automate game.

Ktulu mentioned changing the outs from yellow dots to red dots, in order to distinguish them easier from balls and strikes. I like the idea.

I'm fine with it all except for the mic. Would like option to remove as in past years.

Yeah, the mic isn't really to do with the scoreboard, it's just an annoying image as I mentioned.

By showing the bases on the scorebug you're essentially showing the same information twice as we can also see the baserunners on the 3D field. And this comes at the exclusion of hits & errors. Compacting the Strikes, balls & errors and removing the baserunners would seem a pretty good compromise.

Go to the "Rebuilding Skins" thread.

This is only really an issue on small screen resolutions. I don't remember at what resolutions things shift, but I know that by the time you're up to 1600 wide you get the R/H/E.

After the initial release, we'll keep looking at what tweaks might be useful for smaller screen resolutions.
