Day to day injury players
I have a player (third baseman Scott Rolen of the 2004 Cardinals in the 2000s Champions League, whose thread can be found in historic simulations thread) who has been day to day with a back injury since Aug. 8.
It was supposed to be a two week injury, so I did not play him for 10 days. Then started him once and since have used him only as a pinch hitter or defensive replacement late in games. Twice I have gotten emails about playing him hampering his recovery, but it's been a week since I have used him. And he's still day to day with no timetable for being at full health Should I just play him, I am out of the pennant race because of injuries, I am just ranting at this pt. and need to sleep, and see what happens. |

I'd shut him down and put him on the DL if you're out of it. Free up a roster space and let him heal.
