Personnel coming from one country

Good evening all...

I have this setup with four different regional leagues..

I have, for instance, a European league, with the league nation set as France.

Now, almost all personal (coaches, managers, trainers) on all of the 32 teams come from France..I have tried to delete all personnel and let the game create new ones, but they still all come from France. Is there a way to get more variety?

Players are from the 8 countries that make up the league, so why not personnel?

i can't help directly, but i'm certain this has been brought up in the forums... if there is a solution you can likely find it in one of those past threads.

google will be a better engine than forum search... just append "site:http://www.ootpdevelopments.com" at the endof your search -- no quotes, obviously, but there is a colon in there... copy/paste is best.

What is the baseball quality of all the nations?
the host nation, especially if it is the best quality will produce the majority of the coaches. I had the same issue in a Star Wars league. I just started changing the nation for new coaches manually. Out of 16 MGR only one came from the non host nation. No Trainers were from non hoist nation.

this post just caused a euraka moment!

i think you set the region! League Structure, or thereabouts. won't take long to find if a subset of that page.

same place as "quality" of league.. and you'll have to set it per independent league. (e.g. not for minors. it should inherit that property from "top" level)

either No region - shoudl use all.. or they have a whole bunch of them, hopefully one matches your league's region and where you want hte coaches to come from..

if not, i *think* is still possible, but you have to edit .. world.xml? an xml file with all the countries and stuff.. you'd have to create your own region maybe?

pretty usre others have done this, but i have not personally.

get a free xml reader.. it color codes and can auto-fill names for you once you start type.. even keep track of all the variables used in the sheet etc etc.. just makes life easier with xml to be formatted and color coded...

wow is it nice compared to the 1990's text editor like notepad.exe.

notepad+ or notepad++? one of the two is a free option. opens large file sizes, too.
